Gateway to Housing partners with organizations that deliver critical support to households experiencing homelessness in Charleston. Our members play a vital role by either administering rental assistance programs directly or offering housing navigation services to help clients secure housing.
As the liaison between property partners and service providers, Gateway to Housing bridges the gap, connecting supported tenants with low-barrier housing opportunities and fostering collaboration within our community.

In some situations, Gateway to Housing can assist with move-in costs to help a household access housing. Fill out our Flex Fund Application form here if your agency cannot cover costs such as a security deposit.

To help partner properties identify which applicants bring the Gateway benefits to their tenancy, download the fillable GTH Cover Letter to include with a household’s application.
